Indiana Collection
Inspired by Indiana Jones, The Indiana Collection is by far our most popular product. These timeless bags are made in the old fashion method of Pit Tanning, a process that requires a month of tanning goat leather in concrete tubs using natural local barks. Once the bags are completed, they are coloured using light vegitable oils that give each bag its unique colour.
A few tips for taking good care of your goat leather bag:
- Goat leather tends to age really well, with no treatment required. However, rubbing a little beez wax on a cloth can give it a little rejuvenation, plus it gives it a water proof layer;
- If caught in the rain, goat leather can protect your items, however if it gets soaked, do not attempt to quickly dry it near a heater as this will harden the leather. Just keep using it until the leather naturally drys.
- The Best way to maintain you bag is to use it! Keeping your leather bag stored in a dark closet may cause it to go mouldy. A wet rag can clean the mould if it’s not excessive, but the best medicine is to wear it – let it breath, let roam, let it be free!
